Arrival and Transportation

John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK)  – Located in Queens, JFK offers nonstop flights to destinations worldwide.

LaGuardia Airport (LGA)  – Also in Queens, LGA is a hub for domestic flights.

Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR)  – Located in New Jersey, EWR provides extensive international and domestic flight options.

Getting Around NYC 

New York City offers multiple transportation options to navigate the city efficiently:

• Subway & Buses – The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) operates an extensive subway and bus system. This is also the fastest way to navigate Manhattan and beyond. A MetroCard or OMNY tap-to-pay system can be used for convenience.

• Rideshare & Taxis – Uber, Lyft, and yellow cabs are available throughout the city.

Please be aware of the WNBA’s security protocols at The Shed. All guests will go through a security screening, and the following items are strictly prohibited inside the venue:

- Weapons of any kind, including pepper spray, pocketknives, and blades

- Video or audio recording devices, including GoPros

- Selfie sticks

- iPads or similar electronic devices

- Garments with explicit language or derogatory messaging (at NBA's sole discretion)

- Laser pointers or whistles

- Backpacks, large bags, or sealed packages (including gifts)

- Long chains on clothing or otherwise

- Facial masks that are not easily removable

- Bottles, cans, or coolers

- Outside food or beverages (exceptions made for medical needs, baby food, and children’s snacks)

- Noisemakers of any kind

- Professional camera equipment with lenses over 6 inches

Bag Policy

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience, we highly encourage fans to leave personal bags at home. Bag size guidelines will be strictly enforced:

1. Maximum Bag Size: 4 inches x 6 inches
2. Size restrictions apply to all bags: purses, totes, backpacks, fanny packs, diaper bags, and medical bags.
3. Additional Bag Restriction: All hard-sided bags are prohibited.
4. Bag Search: All bags that meet the size requirements will be searched.
